Summary of Terms & Conditions of Sale for Retail Customers
It is important to us that all your dealings with HBS Plumbing & Bathrooms are fulfilled correctly and to your satisfaction. Please read the following guidance to ensure that we understand what you expect of us and you appreciate what we can or cannot do for you.

1. Placing your Order
We are here to help and advise. Please check your order carefully and ensure all details are correct and that our sales staff has clearly understood the products and/or services requested. If you are in any doubt please ask for further assistance. We ask that you pay a minimum deposit of 10%. Goods ordered that require manufacture or adaptation may need to be paid for in full when you order.
2. Payment
We ask that all goods are paid for prior to delivery with cleared funds.
3. Storage
To enable you to plan, we will store your goods at our premises for one month from your order date without full payment and at our risk. Further storage at our premises will be at your risk and subject to the goods having been paid for in full. Orders should be collected or delivered within three months of order date.
4. Making arrangements with the Installer
Do not confirm your installer's starting date until full receipt of your goods confirmed. HBS Plumbing & Bathrooms recommend that you have goods on site two working days before the installation day to allow you to check that you have all you need and it is in perfect condition. 5. Free Local Delivery
We offer free local delivery service to all 'AL' postcodes on large, bulky items with a value of £150 or higher (excluding ex-display items). We will arrange delivery to other areas, also often free, please enquire either by email or telephone. Our vans are manned by the driver alone - please ensure that suitable assistance is available to off-load heavy or bulky goods. (See our Delivery Policy)
6. Receiving your Delivery
HBS Plumbing & Bathroom cannot consider any claim for shortages or damages 48 hours after delivery. Please ensure you check all goods carefully within the 48 hour period and advise us immediately if you think there is damage or shortage to your order. Packaging must be kept in good condition. 7. Faulty Products
HBS Plumbing & Bathrooms carefully select all the products it supplies. We will guarantee all products for 12 month against fair wear & tear and faults subject to correct installation. Many manufacturer's offer longer warranties and we are happy to assist in the unlikely event of you needing to make contact with the manufacturer. Electrical goods and spares returned as faulty are subject to manufacturers inspection before being replaced.
8. Cancellation & Returns
HBS Plumbing & Bathrooms appreciate that there will be at times, a need to return or cancel goods ordered or purchased. We will make the returning or cancellation of goods as easy as we can and keep charges as low as possible.
If you need to cancel or return goods please advise us straight away. There are some goods that cannot be returned including specially manufactured goods, goods without their packaging in resalable condition and certain replacement electrical goods and spares. We cannot accept return of goods that have been installed or fitting commenced. (Please see our Returns Policy)
We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions from time to time.
Terms & conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Returns Policy
Goods purchased from stock
- We will happily accept returns within 7 days of purchase items in their original undamaged packaging, have not been fitted or used, are in a resalable condition and have an aggregated selling price of less that £50.00 for full refund.
- We will happily accept returns within 7 days of purchase items in there original undamaged packaging, have not been fitted or used, are in a resalable condition and have an aggregated selling price of less that £100.00 for full refund less 5% handling charge.
- We will happily accept all other returns within 21 days of purchase items in there original undamaged packaging, have not been fitted or used, are in a resalable condition for full refund less 20% handling charge.
- We are unable to accept the return of any goods 21 days after date of purchase.
- We are unable to accept the return of any goods without the original packaging and if not in a resalable condition.
- We are unable to accept the return of any goods without the related sales invoice/receipt.
- We are unable to accept the return of any goods that installation has commenced or have been fitted.
Goods purchased by special order
- We will happily accept returns within 7 days of purchase items in their original undamaged packaging, have not been fitted or used, are in a resalable condition for full refund less 10% handling charge. Subject to these goods being returnable to the manufacturer without cost.
- We will happily accept returns within 21 days of purchase items in their original undamaged packaging, have not been fitted or used, are in a resalable condition for full refund less 20% handling charge. Subject to these goods being returnable to the manufacturer without cost.
- Where a manufacturer levies a charge for return of goods, be it percentage of selling price, collection charge, returns charge or combination of these charges we will deduct these costs from any refund plus 10% for our costs.
- We are unable to accept the return of any goods 21 days after date of purchase.
- We are unable to accept the return of any goods without the related sales invoice.
- We are unable to accept the return of any goods that installation has commenced or that have been fitted.
